This option creates a backup file of the RedAnt data to the backup path as specified in System Setup > Defaults file locations tab. The drive and path must be valid on the computer / server where the RedAnt SQL Database is installed. 

 

The backup file is saved with a current date in the filename for identification purposes.

 

Other important data files such as reports are not backed up with this routine and these should be included in your normal day to day backup procedures.  To include all RedAnt data including the data backup files in your daily backup procedures then please make sure the complete RedAnt shared folder is included.
